About the Artist:
Elena Boiardi, a trained artist, produces original ceramic pieces inspired by shagreen. She begins with different color schemes, many of which are influenced by what she sees in nature. She then hand paints each dot to mimic the natural beauty of a stingray. Elena’s pieces are both decorative and functional.
